The Impact of GOD’s Love

What is the impact of GOD’s love on us? GOD does so much out of His love for us, for He:

1-Forgives Your Sins

With all the love, GOD is ready to forgive our sins however ugly and sinuous they are. But this is only if we confess them and seek his assistance so that he will protect us from them in future.

The Holy Scripture says:

“ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”. (1John1: 9)

From his loving deeds too, He:

2-Strengthens Your Weakness and Helps You.

GOD knows that we sin out of weakness although we hate to sin.

The Holy Scripture says:

“ I pray that out of His glorious riches, He may strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being”.

(Ephesians 3:16)

3-He defends you.

So many are the enemies fighting you, there is the devil with all his maliciousness, the world with all its temptations, and the evils with all their plots. Will GOD stand tied hands and leave you as a feather rocking in the wind? GOD forbid! , for HE is the loving father who defends his sons.

The Holy Scripture says:

”The lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"

(Exodus 14:14)

4-He offers you Eternal Life.

The Scripture says:

” The Gift of GOD is eternal life”.

(Roman 6:23)

Lord JESUS CHRIST said himself:

”Do not be afraid little flock, for you Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom”.

(Luke 12:32)

This is about the effect of GOD ’s love on us. Actually, GOD' gifts are countless due to his immense love for us.

The Role of Each One of Us towards such tremendous love

Following are some of what is required from us:

1-The desire to respond with his love:

GOD in his love will not obligate a person to accept him, but He will stand at the door and will knock with love. He will expect man to respond to his love.

For this Beloved John said:

“We love him because He first loved us “

(1 John 4:19).

2-Accept His offer

The second thing required from man in response to the Divine Love is to accept the precious grace offered by CHRIST. Accepting that CHRIST enters your heart and life.

This is why He says:

“ If any one hears my voice”.

(Revelation 3:20)

“If anyone accepts my offer and love”.

3-Invite Him to enter your heart.

The third thing that should be done by who responds with GOD ’s love is to ask Lord JESUS CHRIST to come, and enter in his inner being with the Holy Spirit, to reside in him, works on his inner self, purifying his heart, and fills his being. His faith is not only theoretical information or superficial acquaintance but also a practical experience and a spiritual union.

4-Trusting He will enter.

When man asks GOD to enter his heart, he must have faith that GOD will fulfill his desire immediately and without delay.

He is the one who says:
“If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in”.

(Revelation 3:20)

Therefore you should not doubt GOD 's response to you and that He is indeed in your heart if you have called Him faithfully and with true desire.

5- Engagement with means of grace.

Go to church and meet your confession father, repent truly to obtain forgiveness, and come forward to the communion so that GOD resides in you and you in HIM.

6-Behavior with GOD

He will not abandon you, even if you fall out of weakness and inexperience. HE will lift you and support you as the Holy Scripture says:

” If the Lord delights in a man’s way, He makes his steps firm. Though he stumbles he will not fall. For the Lord upholds him with His hand.”

(Psalm 37:23-24)
